Subject: PLEA! Felv+ Cat Out on the Streets! Foster NEEDED NOW PLZ!

I am OUT of Options!!! OUT!!! I'm pleading for an experienced temp foster to access the temperament of Tabbie. He has been in a cage for over 3weeks now at the vet hospital where he is STRESSED OUT!! He is there awaiting for the 2nd round of bloodwork to rule out his current FELV+ status; Elisa+, IFA Neg. Bloodwork will be done the 1st week of Feb. Tabbie really needs to not have stress so that his body fights off this virus if that is in fact what his little body is doing.  Can you please spare a room? I have a steel dog crate, bowls, blankets, litterbox w/scooper to loan out for Tabbie. I just can't financially do this anymore; I've been out of work for a couple of months. This was an unexpected trap to neuter & not being able to release situation; you may read Tabbie's story on the ChipIn account I setup for him to help understand why I'm at this point with Tabbie.

I setup a ChipIn to help with costs that are over $600 now. If you can chipin please go to:  http://marisol.chipin.com/saving-tabbie

Subject: URGENT: Handsome Tabby Needs Foster And Donations

Hello Everyone:
PLEASE CROSS POST FAR AND WIDE.  If you have a Facebook page, please consider posting to help this handsome boy.
I am posting this on behalf of Mari Serrano.  She trapped a Tabby male cat that appeared in her feral colony and took him to the vet to be neutered. She had him tested for FELV and he tested positive on the snap test as well as the ELISA test sent to the lab.  The good news is that he tested negative on the IFA test so there is a chance he can fight off the virus but in order to do that he needs to get out of the cage at the vets office where there are barking dogs and lots of stress.
Save Tabbie!
He is currently in boarding at a vet's office in Culver City.  He is so stressed out at the vet's office that he lays in his litterbox all day.  It is not known whether he is feral or not as he is so terrified at the vet's office.
She really needs help from somebody who is experienced dealing with ferals that would agree to foster him for a short time to assess him to see if he is feral, semi feral, or tame. Once she knows his temperament, she can look for a long term foster for approximately 60 days until he can be retested.   In addition, Mari is unemployed and desperately needs donations to pay for the medical bills she incurred thus far as well as his boarding fees.
Tabby is a young cat and appears healthy other than testing positive for FELV.  If you can help by donating, please click on the link to the CHIP IN account for Tabby.
If you can help by providing a short term foster home to assess Tabby's temperament, please contact Mari at hope4animals09@yahoo.com
Thank you,
Jacquelyn
