An update on Blythe: This past Monday, your donations went towards Blythe’s spay surgery. Surgery went well and she is on her way to good health!

She looks so good! She has filled out and gained 15 pounds. Her coat is so soft and shiny. She never has looked so healthy and happy! It was apparent to me that she loves her rescue home when she happily rushed back to Annette!

Next on the list, Annette plans on networking her for a permanent home in 2 to 3 weeks just to make sure she fully recovers.

*In these photos, she’s still groggy from her surgery but you can see how healthy she is.

Thank you for caring for Blythe! Sincerely,
Emy
Recently, one person contacted me and forgot to send their donation check. No problem! If you forgot, it’s not too late. Please kindly make the check out to Annette Carlin . In the memo line write “donation for Blythe @ Topanga Boarding & Training for Rescue Dogs. Mail to:

Please share this link if you can.

Annette Carlin and Blythe

This is Blythe, a young female pitbull.  She has had a very unlucky life.  Her first owners kicked her out of the car and left her stranded while she was pregnant.  The second owner completely neglected her and turned her into the shelter.  She was next in line to be euthanized.  I had contacted countless rescues, but no one could take her in.  Fortunately Blythe’s luck completely changed when Annette Carlin (of Topanga Boarding & Training for Rescue Dogs) stepped in and saved her!

This incredible woman is known as the Pit Guru.  I like to call her an angel! Annette takes in only 5 rescue dogs at a time.  Each one gets a lot of specialized attention.  She is very hands on and does everything by herself. Blythe is being rehabilitated back into good health, socialized, trained, exercised, fed, and will ultimately be placed into a permanent home.  In fact, she has placed over 400 dogs (mostly Pits) in 5 years!  Here, Blythe is finally living the life she deserves!

Because of Blythe’s special circumstances and because some of the pledges were not honored, she is in need of donations which will help her spay surgery and extra healing time.  Will you please help?  Every bit goes a long way, whether it’s $5 or $100.  Thank you for your time!
Blythe

Donors may write checks to Annette Carlin.
In the memo, write “donation for Blythe at Topanga Canyon Boarding & Training for Rescue Dogs.”

Blythe's Status:  She is doing great!!  She has gained weight, gets along great with all the other dogs, gets daily walks (which she never got), and will be spayed early August.
