Message from Pat:
Baron is the love of my life, my precious boy. I was supposed to go away for the weekend, but instead, ended up at the emergency room (Southern Crescent Animal Hospital in Fayetteville) with him because he was howling in pain from urinary blockage. The cost just for the overnight stay, today's stay, and tonight 's emergency treatment is $3200 and they say he'll die if he doesn't have an operation that will cost another $2500-3500. If he has the operation, it will fix the problem
I don't know what to do. If I can't find the money, I'll have to have them euthanize him tomorrow (Saturday). I also have to find somewhere to take him for the operation. The vets in my town are not the best and I would not trust them with something like this
I really need help. If anyone can help me get to a good vet that will work with me on cost/fundraising, and if people can donate toward the bill, I would be willing to drive him anywhere that I can get to here in the Atlanta area. I do have a paypal account (baileygirl@charter.net atcharter.net) if that helps, and I will try and figure out how to make a chipin tonight.
If anyone can help, please feel free to contact me tonight, no matter how late it is. Come morning,I have to make the decision about whether he's given a chance to live or whether I have to have him put down. I will check my email before going back to the emergency room in the morning, so if you email me, I will see it. If I don't answer my phone, please leave message and I will hear it before then.
Thank you!
